Was looking a flights recently to BKK via many different routes including HKG.

The odd thing is that when you look at the terms and conditions it doesn't actually limit geographically where you can book to and get the 50% bonus - you got an offer for HKG but could get it on flights to the U.S.

This has been confirmed in other threads regarding bonus SC offers this year. Other AFF members have reported that they received bonus SC for flying to destinations other than that in the offer. Just needs to be confirmed by the T&C.

When new threads on the same topic are opened up, valuable information is sometimes “lost” in the process. Just looking at the bottom of this page on my iPad, the five Similar Threads that listed are all about 50% more status credits.

Edit: The targeted offer may relate to recent searches, but then it may not. 😀

Ah OK - willadmit that I'm not a frequent reader of these forums so would have missed those threads

That does seem to be a problem across many forums unfortunately

There does seem to be a relationship in a lot of cases - perhaps not all, but enough to make it clear that it is not a coincidence. Worked for me anyway! :D

Having checked the T&Cs it reads:
An eligible flight for the purpose of this promotion means any Qantas marketed flight with a QF flight number on your ticket where Status Credits are normally earned.

My bolding.

Interesting that the title bar only mentions HKG. Now will there be a DSC in FEB or not?

The destination in the subject is to try and catch your attention since you will probably recall that you looked for that destination recently and probably still want to go there.

Hvr may be well ahead of us with this one.
