50% more status credits with Qantas Business Rewards to 19/6

I'm pretty sure I saw the usual up to 8 weeks disclaimer...

This scares me. So I need 70 points before 31st July to get silver. My flight on the 17th gives me 60 points, but with the 50% bonus I get 90 points which means I'll have enough.

So question is, will I still be eligible for Silver if Qantas only gifts the those bonus points AFTER 31st July? If they do it before I'm all good. Anyone has any similar experience before?

I wondered the same thing, and watched this video, which provides some insight on how Qantas handles these sorts of things. In my experience, the status credits have to come in before the membership year ends, otherwise you don't re-qualify. I usually aim to have mine all in 2 months before.

I would call them now and discuss this issue. I think you'll find they would be understanding. Be proactive in this case.

They credit in the year they were earned. So you'll get your silver, eventually :)

Received my bonus 50% SC today for flight taken 22/6/18 domestic Y. Posted automatically. (Didn't require phone call.)

Yay! The system works. Bonus SCs delivered in only 4 1/2 weeks ... so only another 2 weeks for me to wait, checking my account twice a day.

I had some appear without intervention today also.

As a data point on how long they’re taking, mine were for travel on 3 July so three weeks exactly.

I posted too soon. Just checked for the third time today.... and... look what I found. Qantas, after all those things I said about you! Only another 2,295 SCs in the next 5 weeks to get to WP1.
