Have some Japan stays coming up in April, so had a look. One hotel is not offereing the rate at the time I would be using it and the other has rates that vary between a few dollars less or more than the current flexible rates I have already booked.

So, close, but no cigar for me ...

The sale rates above are non refundable so even if slightly cheaper than my current flexible bookings in April, I will have to pass...

Thanks for posting, it's a generous discount.
I managed to get 50% in Tokyo but no luck in Seoul for the dates I need.
Edit: found 50% rate at Grand Hilton Seoul. Question is should I cancel Conrad to save $100 per night? Decisions decisions...

Thanks again markis10 for sharing the link. I have successfully booked 4 hotels in Japan at 50% of the flexible rate and also decided to go with logic over luxury in Korea ;)
