That could actually be a good deal for Americans!
But possibly not QF? They presumably pay each time someone access an AA lounge with QP membership?

I had a friend stump up for a 2 year membership on Thursday 6 October. Ouch $1,100....
A very long time ago (~20 yrs), I was leaving the employment of an organisation with an exceptional corp rate. I bought 3 yrs at something like $150! I probably still had one of those years in reserve when I hit LTG. I didnt think it was worth trying to chase a refund of the unused component...

Hmm. AUD$399. Even at half price I'm not sure of the value proposition.

A few years ago when VA1 was still alive the rumor was that basically anyone with a valid VA ticket could enter the lounge status or not by paying a fee at the lounge counter - if memory serves this was reportedly about 60$. I had status at the time and/or flew J so I never really paid much attention.

VA still sells entry for $60. A colleague used it this year when there were 3 of us and I took one guest.

QANTAS lounge staff look at you distastefully if you ask to pay for single entry.

I can't see the point of the subscription personally. If you fly often enough to need it, you'll get free lounge access.

Does it apply, for example flying Jetstar from Queenstown to Auckland taking a guest
No because there is no lounge in Queenstown that is for domestic flights (other than Air NZ).

AND QF Club membership comes with drink vouchers for the bar (that AA Club doesn't)
AA has removed the concept of drink vouchers.

Tried to renew my membership with this 50% off offer but had to close my Corporate membership (which I pay) first (losing 2 months). I have now renewed for 12 months and will restart my Corporate membership when this runs out in 12 months. IMO it’s very worthwhile.

I have a AFF supporters corporate membership with the Qantas club. When attempting to take advantage of the discounted renewal the qantas site asks for a Corporate Scheme Number. Does anyone know what this is? I can`t seem to find it documented anywhere.

OK, hive mind ...

Why when my wife tries to renew her membership for a year is the price indicating $360 not $270?

Same issue. Wife logged in to renew for the year and despite the information saying 50% discount, the price offered is $360 (1yr), $620 (2yr), $1150 (4yr). Being Sunday, the QC line is closed.
