Or its very good for those who want to travel on J Standard Awards at the rate of Savers, eg. SIN-LAX on a A380 for 60K is very good value.

Couldn't convince my +1 to go with me to Sin for a few days in Nov on the A380 in J class return for 90000 miles + ~$414 in taxes / surcharges per person...and there is availability on the actual days I could go.....:evil::shock: I need to find a + 1 who likes flying more - know anyone?

This has been a good special for me. I was able to rebook my existing travel plans and save miles.

One point to note, the special doesn't allow booking of different types of awards for instance BNE-SIN I can get a J Saver but then onto ZRH is a J Standard. Had to be booked as two bookings. Minor difference in the taxes but the miles saving was worth it.
