Have registered for this promo and as it turns out I'm at the Holiday Inn on Flinders Lane this weekend so hopefully I will get the
bonus 5000 points for this stay,this promo on top of the double points bonus I've already registered for should mean close to
20000 points for this stay which means I will only be about 20000 short of platinum,should be able to get there this year easily
but I would not have had a chance without the help I have received from this thread.

Have you had success with this promotion? There were a couple of these around last year, that let me register, but failed rather miserably(!) to post any bonus points to my account!

No nothing from the stay yet,I am expecting a good points haul though,spent nearly $1000 with H.I on Flinders Lane so with the double points promo and the 5000 bonus
I should hopefully top 25000 which will put me only about 15000 shy of platinum.
I did get the 250 points for the survey though !

Thanks for the code Markis, Will be staying at HI waikiki this friday and Saturday so will see if the points post. Staying 3 nights in a 1 bedroom suite @ $750 per night plus taxes so my points for this stay should be:
25640 Standard points
25640 for double points promo
12820 50% bonus for platinum
5000 bonus weekend stay bonus
1000 aniversary bonus offer

Plus 1 night at IC sydney on the way out and 2 nights at IC Sydney on the way back in

Total should be approx 80000 points all nights. Thats enough for nearly 3 nights CP somewhere. Who says PC is not worth it

Yep it's fabulous,I would never have known how easy it is to earn PC points without the help of people here on AFF.
Now if only Velocity would do a status match with PC,and Hilton Honors do the same then everything would be peachy.

And dont forget pointsbreaks will be updated by the end of the month, no guarantees that one will be in an area that you want to visit but at 5K a night, good value, fingers crossed there is one in the UK when you need it, if so they go quick!

Things just keep getting better today,just checked my velocity account and have 13500 points credited from switching my electricity to Lumo,that's enough for a flight to BNE,and
a weekend at the H.I would tip me over the 60000 point mark for platinum.Happy Days!

Or the CP down the coast that will be less busy as we move away from beach weather, often around $100 a night. You should really join PP if you are staying that much!
