re: 5xbonus at BP 'til 31Dec2011[Ext.to 31Mar2012] Must register your card.

So even if we were already registered we still need to register again?

December, March and now June.. when will it end :D
Not sure about that...rang AMEX and he confirmed that I am registered til 30th June 2012 so looks like you don't have to ring to reregister.

re: 5xbonus at BP 'til 31Dec2011[Ext.to 31Mar2012] Must register your card.

Good news all , just rang AMEX to re-register for the BP promo and was told it is going through to June 30 2012 .
Also , it had updated my details automatically to take me through till then .
Happy days ...... I scored an extra 40k points to end of Dec. because i just happen to run my company fuel account with a certain BP so things are looking even better now !!
The F lounge is fun isnt it !!

What number did you call? I just rang Amex (number on the back of my card) and the person I spoke to (and her colleagues) didnt know anything about the extension....

Hopefully the offer continues indefinitely! BP gets more business than usual & Amex cardholders get more award flights so it's win win. I'm going to call Amex next week to confirm registration for the extension.

Hi all!

I gave Amex a call this arvo, and they confirmed for me that the promotion has been extended to June 30.. But you need to re-register and that's only available over the phone for now via customer service number on back of your card. She said that they'll be posting it up on the website shortly, so I'll take that to mean 3 days to 3 weeks.

re: 5xbonus at BP 'til 31Dec2011[Ext.to 31Mar2012] Must register your card.

Not at all standard for them to not alter the t&c.

Promos are often extended including sign on boni, but Amex then alters the t&c.

So something is wrong here at present.

Nope they are usually lazy with promos when they finish, especially around this time of year.

re: 5xbonus at BP 'til 31Dec2011[Ext.to 31Mar2012] Must register your card.

I will ring them tomorrow to confirm the extended date and ensure I write down the persons name I speak to

I need to use my my $$$$$ of existing vouchers first

Thanks for the confirmation, will give them a call in the morning.

I normally closely monitor t&c. So I will respectfully disagree.

My experience is that they will normally alter before they finish if they are to be extended.

Mistakes such as DSE which was not meant to extended excepted.

Spoke to Robyn just before, according to my MR account she could see I am still registered till 30th June, however she did say they expect they online registration to be back online January 9th.

Looks like I'll have to keep using BP and get my wife to use my EDR card to make use of our 4x and 15x QFF bonus points

re: 5xbonus at BP 'til 31Dec2011[Ext.to 31Mar2012] Must register your card.

I also rang and was told 30th June is the new date for those already registered!

So at the end of June I'll need to buy more cards I feel, just have to use the current stash up first...

Wow, happy that we are on the right side of this deal. Another 6 months, now that is going to be a deal maker and make it hard to go back to Woolies/Caltex. Seems my decision to change both my EDR card and wife's to QFF points a good option then (for me anyway, YMMV)

re: 5xbonus at BP 'til 31Dec2011[Ext.to 31Mar2012] Must register your card.

Just confirming that I didn't need to call and I'm seeing the bonus points still posting from BP.

Looks like another 6 months of BP getting my money rather than woolies!

Kinda annoyed I spent $5k on gift cards! At least they are so easy to use! Just swipe and leave...

I might try selling some around work/friends for a 5% discount :p

Am I missing something????

Choose to swap your fuel savings for Qantas Frequent Flyer
points when you redeem a fuel saving voucher at participating
CALTEX WOOLWORTHS
co-branded fuel outlets!

ie you would only gain points if you filled up at Caltex.

So how is switching to QFF points of any advantage when filling up at BP?

re: 5xbonus at BP 'til 31Dec2011[Ext.to 31Mar2012] Must register your card.

Modified TC is up...though wording is a bit odd and imprecise. So is is open for regsitration till March 31, or is March 31 when it closes?

re: 5xbonus at BP 'til 31Dec2011[Ext.to 31Mar2012] Must register your card.

Interesting that yet again there is confusion over an Amex promo. Website - end date seems to be 31 March 2012, people who have phoned up have been told end June 2012. Why, oh, why can't they they get things right, or at least consistent

Kinda glad I only spent $100 gift cards :p Used the giftcard this morning, easiest one ever to use!
