Short on some points for Virgin Velocity program this got me across the line.
You can earn up to 300 points per offer in the month. So an easy 900 points if you short.

Been enjoying these perks for a couple of months now, certainly adds up

Just don't forget this clause from their T&Cs:

2.8 No retrospective claims for Velocity Points will be accepted at any time, even in instances where the claim arises out of technology malfunctions.

I had an offer last year where I was entitled to 250 Velocity points on my next purchase at 7-Eleven, and scanned my barcode at the time of purchase, but nothing appeared on my Velocity account.

Until about a month later, when the standard 2 VFF per $ appeared in my Velocity account, backdated to a month earlier, but not the 250 bonus points.

And according to their T&Cs, even though it was clearly their system malfunction that caused me to not get my points, the answer for me is 'too bad'.

Not sure that many would bother pursuing it for the relatively small number of points offered in these promotions, but I do wonder about the legality of such a clause that lets them not have to honour their side of the deal after they've provided an inducement for people to spend money with them.
