Reading the comments for the pic on Flickr, there is one 7xx series aircraft missing from the event for the pic. The 720.

I think its safe to say it was a 707 variant. :)

"The 720 was originally designated 707-020 but later changed for marketing reasons. It was a modification of the 707-120 designed for medium-range operation from shorter runways"

Maybe they consider the B720 as a variant of the B707 as they is really what it is.

See:
The 720 is a smaller capacity, lighter, medium range variant of the 707, given its own model number to indicate significant engineering changes.

Introduced in 1959, the 720 (originally designated 707-020) retained the same basic structure as the 707-120, but was 2.54m (8ft 4in) shorter,

TWA 707 1979, ORD - SFO. I changed my flight from a UA DC10 just so I could fly on one before they were phased out. Have also flown the DC8, DC9, DC10 and L-1011 but haven't made the MD11. In those days the US airlines would all accept each others (paper) tickets but would put little stickers on them to change the flight details.

Not to neglect Airbus, have flown all the models except the A310. Fortunately I flew on Nancy Bird Walton last year before her current dramas. One posting on Pprune suggested Airbus may be taking VH-OQA back to use as a test machine.

I've been on all models except the 707 as well. Unfortunately, short of knowing people in the right places to get on a refuelling 707 somewhere in the world, there's only a few in commercial flight in Iran (I believe they're still operating?)

Done the DC9, DC10, MD11 and L1011 though. Also done A319/320/321/330. No 340 or 380 yet

I've now walked on and touched a 707 too, but certainly not flown it as it was bolted down to the ground.

I have heard 707s are popular targets for thieves in LRE:lol: .

Well technically it will be flown once more, they’re just a bit mum on when that’s going to happen. So you could steal it, but you’d need to unbolt it, fuel it and probably flip the appropriate switches.
