@Hvr - where is the ID label that has been removed on yours?

As I stand facing the front door, large cart. on the left side, top right hand corner.

Basically where your left hand would go if you pushed the cart not using the handle.

I hope that makes sense.

Yes it does. So where I have circled in blue. Mine seems to be intact if I have that right.
Already looks way cleaner too - esp the white plate on the right.

I still have that plate on the front.

I have seen photos of other carts with a manufacturer's plate.
On my cart there are four screw holes where I expected the plate to be.

Some WPs (VIC/TAS only)
It looks like there is one cart available to win for residents of each VIC/TAS, QLD, NSW/ACT, SA and WA. So 5 carts total in 5 different draws.

It looks like the only things on the cart I'd be interested in are the blanket and the tim tams. I have no idea where I'd even put the cart if I were to somehow win it.

I ordered a full cart - no delivery call yet (I'm in SYD) but the CAD drawings for the bar set up are well progressed....

I'm in PER and just got the call that my half bar cart is being delivered tomorrow. I'm intrigued that the old first class bar carts had wooden panels on them. Does anyone have photos? I might get my chippie to help me pimp up my cart!

That's surprising 'cause IIRC, First Class PAX were never served off a trolley/cart. Yes, carts were used to store the F&B in the galley but that was as far as their use for First PAX went.

You are most probably correct serfty as I'm too young to have experienced it. I thought I read something here or elsewhere that mentioned that the bar carts used to look more fancy with wooden coverings. I know they are covered in white linen in domestic business.

I found the reference
"Notice how in the 70's everything had a touch of class in keeping with the glamour of flying. The carts were dressed in wooden sides and fancy doors. Nowadays they are bashed and battered and rolled down the isle regardless. Of course in International F and J you don't see them and in dom J they are covered."

A prototype version.

Only kidding the image was pinched from Google however @Pumbaa maybe your chippy can find some inspiration to pimp your cart.

We were chuckling about what the wine will be. I detest Sav Blanc with an absolute passion so chardy will do just fine. I’m hoping the Brisbane ones get delivered by week’s end. We’ll be on Kangaroo Island Monday and Tuesday of next week!
Is anyone getting these primarily for the contents? Unlikely I think.

I would say that the contents of the cart are a bonus, or possibly a hinderance, depending upon alcohol preferences. The alcohol would seem to be nothing special, so may end up in the bin for those with a discerning palate. 🤭

Agreed. Imagine how much money they could have made if they let us customise our carts with miniatures of our favourite spirits!

I value the PJs, blanket and tim tams, the rest I could easily do without.

The chardy was drinkable. Not our preferred drop but not the mouldy chardy flavour either.
