I have 200k+ points to use for 2 one way F Award bookings with *A. I was originally going to use F Savers to get to JFK (actually need to get to MIA) but have decided against as cant get two F Savers on one flight and I cant do mixed class redemptions on the cough new website as cant get to SIN from PER in F, only J. This means I am now looking at Alliance carriers.

Any suggestions on how I might be able to get from PER to MIA in F. I realise the first leg will be in J with either SQ or TG but from there not sure.
Am I right in saying LX or LH with direct flights from their hubs to MIA is the best bet? What are my chances on getting two F seats for march next year?

thanks

Do BA even offer F from LHR - MIA any more? I thought it was just Y, Y+ and J

With SQ I usually book out of Singapore first, then I do the PER-SIN connecting flights afterwards if the classes are different. So if there is a First ticket out of SIN I grab that then hook up the J flights between Perth and Singapore.

Cove, yep looks like thats the only way. I cant even do mixed class redemption with * Alliance Awards either so would have to start in SIN. Annoying because its 100k points each way to MIA in F from either SIN or PER, means I have to waste 27k odd points to get to SIN in J.

Also checked availability yesterday with SQ and as expected there is bugger all with anyone. Best bet seems to be LX but then need to jaunt over to BKK to get that one anyway and I dont think TG fly daily to BKK from PER so would need SQ.

Gee its a fair way to MIA from PER. I am going to probably have to go PER-SIN-BKK-ZRH -MIA. I might just consider J as it opens up more options i think!

Can you do PER-SIN-FRA on SQ then a *A carrier to MIA from FRA (?LH/UA)?

Or PER-SIN-MUC then onwards?

Problem is I cant get two F savers on SQ to get to FRA and MUC requires standard points which are way too much.
