A Big Shout out!

I have been a member of this board for 6 or 7 years. In that time I have made new friends and introduced IRL friends to this site.

I'd like to think I have helped other members in the past. I personally have given away QP passes to other members.

But recently I have been on the receiving end of some fantastic generosity. I won't publicly say whom or what, but it have reminded me what this is all about.

Beyond the Holden vs Ford....oops I mean QF vs DJ fan boi stuff that goes on here, there is a general love of flying here and I think sometimes we need to remember that.

The "core" community here genuinely wants to help others here, I for one are one of those.

We are one, but we are many. And from all the different communication devices we come. We share a dream and post to one Forum: I am, you are, we are AFF Members:mrgreen:

I was generously gifted 4 AA eVIPs that allowed us to travel in style from Sfo-Mia-Uio earlier this year from a longstanding member, not to mention all the advice freely given that allowed us to stay in nice places for "free", travel at the pointy end etc etc. Without this site, I would never have reached QF Plat, and by default, DJ plat. I hope I have contributed too in a small way to this forum...this is not to mention all the AFFers that I have personally met who have been incredibly generous with their advice and tips...
