Tom Lehrer: New Math (concert live) (1965)

]

I've loved Tom Lehrer's work since I first heard it almost 60 years ago; so many great songs which were rather risque for the 60's.

As one with deafness and hearing aids, I can really connect with this - love it.

PS Hearing aids went in for an end of warranty check and turns out the actual ear piece for my left ear which is weaker was faulty - new cast and still waiting for the piece to be made. One ear has the regular aid back from service and the left has a very old one which probably doesn't do a lot. Very weird when anyone phones as it only streams to the right ear. Hopefully back in the next week or two. Not a lot of benefit in growing old but at least still vertical. 😁

And I loved the Vatican Rag - get down on your knees and genuflect, genuflect, genuflect 🤣

After months of arguments that only increased in angst level over the TV volume setting, I got hearing aids a few months back.

Recently I noticed the right one went flat a couple hours before the left. No real problem. But then arguments over the TV recommenced.

Booked in with audiologist and yep the right one not performing well. Sent back under warrantee and they retained the csse but replaced all the innards.

Back on track again with no arguments (for now) (at least over TV volume 🤣)
