Ok. If flying single then do not get the rear facing seats in the center. Forward facing center seats are fine. This is whyThanks, Pushka. I am travelling solo so that's good intel. I have flown Etihad in a rear-facing seat, which I was dreading, but apart from the weirdness of takeoff/landing I didn't mind. That said, it was a centre aisle which is different to looking "the wrong way" out a window.

The panel between the 2 rear seats that forms the double bed is right next to your elbow. It’s metallic and before we’d even left I’d banged it several times. It’s noisy. Very claustrophobic.
All other seats are fine.
