Just based on the married segments with QR, I know AA have been getting more strict over the years and I've seen anecdotal reports this extends to partner flights too.Why do you indicate that?

I donated 1k miles yesterdayLike everyone...been a while since i booked with AA...
just seen mileage expiry in June 22 and was wondering if simplest & easiest way is still family transfer, or donate to charity.... have done both previously, instant 18 months & move on !
Sometimes others have seen offers or such to earn a few points & so re-trigger dates.... just wondering ??
Thanks in advance...
Thanks Andye...I have 2 family accounts with same date expiry...would a family transfer from 1 to the other re-trigger both dates ??I donated 1k miles yesterday
Looks like the award wallet method of picking up points for comments has gone

Thank you @drron, I am a stress head so just wanted to checkNot a problem at all. You are allowed to book for your partner and the name doesn't matter. Very common these days.
