I will be able to catch up with this 'fish rider' next year. We have just booked our hotel in Berlin for 25 - 31/8/2020 - MARITIM ProArte Hotel - just off the Unter Den Linden. The hotel will be the site of my wife's family reunion and there are special rates for attendees if booked early. About 90% will be Germans with a fair contingent from Canada, Singapore and Australia.

The Singaporeans and Australians are Eurasian descendants of one ancestor who sailed out to join the Dutch East India Company in Malacca around 1790. The Canadian are descendants of those who fled the aftermath of the 1848 revolutions in Germany

This will be our third time in Berlin (about 9 days so far), a city we both love. From our previous trips I know that we definitely will still miss lots.
