Dang! AFF is misbehaving on my iPhone 7, but not on my iPad.

When I touch the 3 bars icon at upper left, the usual threads menu fails to open and it skips over to ‘Community Connections’, rather than threads. It seems to also mess with posting pics. I had to airdrop the last ones to my iPad.

Does anyone have any idea what may be going on? It suddenly started yesterday. Both iPhone and iPad are running the latest iOS.

I never update just prior to a big trip. I hate Apple and iTunes but am stuck with it.

Phone has definitely gone AWOL for photo upload.

Smooth ride all the way to SCL.

Spicy carrot soup was good & paired with a (IIRC Punt Road) Pinot Grigio. Barramundi was very good; with Coldstream Hills Chardonnay. French cheeses were good. I’m not a fortified or sticky fan and usually like a Cabernet or Cab blend with cheese. Reds on offer were Shiraz and a McLaren Vale Grenache (Haselgrove IIRC). I went the latter and it was a good example; went well with cheese.

Phone has definitely gone AWOL for photo upload.

Because phone screens are usually smaller than tablets, the User Interface usually adapts a little bit, therefore, when uploading photos on a phone you want to scroll to below the post text box to see the "upload a file" link.

Thanks, but it’s more than that. I’ve used my phone plenty of times to post before but it is behaving very differently now.

One strange aspect is that it wants to upload the photo as an ‘attachment’ but the pic never appears. Does that give any clues?

I’m airdropping phone photos to my iPad as an easy workaround.

Yes, I’m familiar with that as it’s what it used to do. The main problem is that tapping on the three horizontal lines icon does nothing at all.

No matter. I really only mentioned it in case others had experienced the same problem.

I’ll airdrop phone photos to my iPad and post from that.

1A on LA B787 SCL-LIM last night. Excellent pasta washed down with a Catena Zapata Malbec (Argentinian).

When I booked, this sector was a B787 (LA530, the SCL-xLIM-JFK service), later changed to a B767 as LA use RR engines. It looks like LA is getting their new birds back in the air.
