Not sure if anyone saw this, but it seems like John Martin has passed away at the age of 83.

It was not a particularly well written piece IMO. It wasn't till the last paragraph that it was made clear that he had passed and even that was a little obscure.
That notwithstanding, he had an amazing flight history.

Was a nice piece on Ready for Takeoff. Amazing number of flights. From memory he kept a hardcopy map with every flight (or at least route) marked!
