Now a bit of Karma. A motor cyclist that I had pulled over for was alsoresting there so offered to take our photos.

A little further on we came across a lot of Hydrangeas. So I dropped her off with the camera and stopped in a side street.

As Mrsdrron was taking the last hydrangea pictures I noticed what was across the road.

So when she had taken these pictures we went over and checked out the little shrine.

After driving off it wasn't long before we came to another Michi-No-Eki which had a nice farm crop.

There were some interesting things in the farm shop. I love tomato soup but with curry? Decided to leave it.

But I did get a couple of packs of their tomatoes and they were the best I have had for some years.

The have an Exhibition here about a moderately successful Sumo wrestler born a little north of here.

We had seen a very big gate at the top of the hill so drove back to see what it was. The sign should have told us.
DSC07442.JPG

We had to drive through the gate to get a picture of the entrance.
DSC07441.JPG

Of course it was a cemetery but massive in size.

We found a Robata restaurant at the road behind the warehouses along the canal.
Local wine and a beer from a craft brewery a few places up the road.

And what would be called an Amusee bouche elsewhere in the world.

The coals being put into our cooking pit.
IMG_0372.jpg

And some of our meal.

The beer I had was the Merzen and after that the sake flight.
The fire where the coals are collected.

The restaurant. It has an easy Japanese name to remember - the Japanese BBQ restaurant.
IMG_0381.jpg

And a slow walk back to the hotel.
