Hi All
I managed to get 240 status credits from my recent flights within Europe, so only 40 sc away from Qantas Silver before Oct 31st. I am generally a Virgin flyer, however I need to travel to Alice Springs for work and Virgin doesn't fly there, so thought I would go for Silver (very Australian it seems at the moment!)
So my questions are this (as I know absolutely nothing about how the QFF program works)
I have a $200 credit note that needs to be redeemed by next week.
Should I use this towards a one way flight, pay for the rest and use points to apply for an upgrade from a Red e deal? And then book perhaps a Business fare on the return?
Or use points for one way up or back and pay for the other sector in Business?
Or are there other options that will net me the 40 status credits, as well as somehow using the voucher and perhaps flying in Business for at least one way?
Any help appreciated
Dates are Dep Mel 12th Oct, Return 13th Oct
