A question of travel insurance

Hey, I'm a platinum charge and platinum edge card holder.. I've bought some tickets for an LA trip on the Edge card. I think the cover from charge card is more generous, but do I still get it or do I forfeit by paying with the wrong card? thanks.

Platinum Edge uses the same coverage as the Explorer. Buy additional coverage if this cover doesn’t suit as you won’t be covered by the Platinum Charge policy.
