Flight - Lima to Puerto Maldonado (via Cusco)
Airline - Star Peru
We did this flight 2 years ago (and looks very much like your tour - did you go to Lake Sandoval from Puerto Maldonado?)
when we landed at Puerto Maldanado - the pax clapped, as if we had made a safe landing after blowing an engine. To this day we wonder what the pilot did to warrant the applause.
Of all the airports in the world we have been too, Puerto Maldonado will always be remembered.
