Still 30k miles for South Pacific to South Pacific flights...

Though Guam is not there, there is Easter Island (closer to Chile) and French Polynesia. Full list in zone definition:

Australia, Easter Island, Fiji, French Polynesia, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Republic of Tonga, Republic of Vanuatu, American Samoa and Samoa.

FWIW, should be Kingdom of Tonga.

PS:

Guam and Sri Lanka in Asia 2:

Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Guam, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Saipan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam

Certainly not on AA metal, but i think it would be QF and then one of the pacific airlines and then LAN from whatever the island they fly to from Xmas Is (is it French Polynesia)... Don't think they would let you go via South America... But maybe Flyertalk would have some mention of an allowed route or if its been done...

Some creative itineraries should be possible, like via Santiago, SA. (similar to going to Guam through Asia using USDM)

IPC is a nice oneworld hack (ala Lifemiles) to get to Santiago on the cheap. The only problem has and always will be the lack of business award space on QF. LAN is not that much better either.

The route from SYD to IPC is via AKL and PPT. However the catch is to fly SYD-AKL-PPT-IPC with no stopover less than 24h. Unfortunately flights are not daily and I haven't been able to persuade AAdvantage that "next available flight" should prevail if the there is more than 24h between flights. The same applies for the return trip. However if someone can show me the way I would love to give it a try!
