AA Domestic F - My Expectations Were Low.

May I ask what the context of this was? Sounds bizarre.
Blackcat20 and I were in the front row of the new A321T. 1A and F in a 1-1 configuration. So we had a good view as pax boarded, and to hear the crew interaction. One crew member told the rest that she was going to Starbucks, and would anyone like anything. The CSM replied with, "Yeah, a direct flight to LAX on another airline".

The same CSM when offering to top up my Champagne just pointed at the glass. When I said "Yes, please", he just pointed at it again without saying anything. In the end I worked out that he wanted me to pass him the glass.

I think he provided the worst service of any crew member on any airline I have ever had.

Sounds like a workplace joke - flight home on another airline so I don't need to work.

That's pretty bad - aside the most perfunctory AA service on an old AAirbus during MIA-BIS flight, AA FA's have been pretty good - certainly more consistantly than I have ever had with Qantas.

As for the chicken/goop meals - they are supposed to improve from November 18th - being just over 10 weeks since the new management tried to see what they could get away with - causing an avalanche of complaint.

I had 3 aa & 2 american eagle flights within 3 days 27-30/10. The American eagle flight attendant were nicer by a country mile than aa. The attendant I had Dfw-ord did everything that was required, but 'attitude' all over the place, reminded me of nurse ratchet n one flew over the cuckoo nest, perhaps a slight exaggeration. I noticed a Hugh difference in service & attitude than other flights. I could never relate to comments that were negative I read previously. So not looking forward to the final 3 flight. 4 flights were in first & 5th in business.

i chose to fly out of Dfw-Lhr 30/10 to fly on 777-300. I have literally spent hours trying to figure out how to download photos to no avail, come out sideways, upside down, everyway but correct. Tried tp edit, if correct, then unable to download. Enough reasons, first time in suite like seat. Pretty comfy, great to have table space for bits & pieces. My beef dinner was 100% better than qf flt over to states. I was hoping I would have choice of Sunday, probably favourite part of meal, no disappointment there. Now to flight attendants.... I enjoy giving chocolates to the crew for no other reason than it is something I enjoy doing. On return I am going w/out chocolates. Flight left 19:30, in parts was a bit bumpy but IMHO did not require seat belt sign on nearly whole flight, but what would I know, not a pilot. The cynic in me says attendants wanted folk to stay put, they've got no hope with my bladder. The lav between mini & larger business cabin is large & quite nice. I chose to use one @ back of business, not as nice, so as not to come across an attendant.

unsure where to post this, in the main, reply was about original post.

DOn;'t worry - seat belt signs staying on for Loooong periods on USA carriers is quite normal. Unless accompanied by a specific announcement from the flight crew, most PAX seem to ignore them for things like lavatory trips, accessing bags in overheads, etc. If you had come across an attendant they would likely have said nothing.
