Hey everyone,

Suppose I want to fly SYD-AUH (Etihad) and from there go by land to DXB and catch a Royal Jordanian flight to Amman, do you think this will be still considered one award on AA?

I've done SYD-AUH-AMM in the past with EY / RJ, but not sure if the land segment is allowed?

Thanks!

No, this would be considered as two separate awards due to the surface segment. To get this on one award you would need to fly SYD-AUH-AMM.

Thanks,

Do you know if they same applies if flying from say Osaka - Haneda (JL) then NRT - MEL (also JL)?
