Hey guys,

Quick question, Your interpretation on the table below (c and p from QF). Are all < 750 flights in F valued at 40sc till you click over to 751 then suddenly it becomes 90?

Thanks for the confirmation. I feel slightly saddened by this info ....... :P

Agree. It makes the multi-segment runs a lot less attractive. Need to look for longer sectors. I found that it was often no better splitting long sectors into two sectors as the earn was often the same as and in some cases poorer than the direct route.
Certainly makes planning SC runs a whole lot harder but in some ways simpler (and fairer  )

yea exactly, trying to find 4x>750s out of NYC or similar. Seems like i need to do two return trips instead of one full circle!

there's a sort of reasonable run LGA-DFW-LAX-LAS - but that's only three segments, and the last one is short. USD488 for 220SC (one way)

Thanks for that, might have to take a look, was thinking Nashville x 2 or something

Thanks Serfty, starting off in nyc though,

Haven't looked at the $$ cost but BOS-DFW is just over the magic 1500 miles.

Happy wandering

Fred

I had some good runs recently involving AUS-ATL, ATL-IND and IND-NYC for F YUPP fairs (falling into A or P class).

MCO-MIA-JFK/ORD/DFW is also popular. AA lean heavily on their hubs so use them to your advantage :)

MCO-DFW-ORD (vv) are both over the magical 750 mile mark and MCO is often a great starting point in terms of cheap fares.

I'm looking at doing something out of DEN on the 23/7 should I be looking at sectors within the 751-1,500 mile range or 1,501-2,500?

Thanks
