AA stroller onboard incident

With the argument involving a child's stroller on AA591 (SFO - DFW) that has been so widely posted on various Internet sites (including the video), I could not hear all the discussion.

Isn't it normal practice worldwide for strollers to be handed in just before boarding the aircraft, and then stored in the hold?

Also it wasn't clear from the video what the airline employee (allegedly a flight attendant) who entered the cabin did to provoke anger from the male passenger with the smartphone? There is comment that the employee hit the woman with her stroller: I couldn't see this.

This one does sound more like a traditional 'news' beat up than the UA incident.

Maybe it should read that the employee accidentally hit the woman with her stroller as he took it to be checked in. Not enough information has been provided at this time.
