Hi, I joined AA last week after reading AFF interesting review, on the AA 40% bonus and have looked at buying some a couple of times

I've just received an offer for 60% bonus

Has anyone brought and used these points for non reward flights in Australia and to Auckland?

How would/could you use points for non reward flights in Australia and to Auckland
Cash and ff miles(~points) on AA web site ?
Anytime AA award (unlimited ff miles/points) on AA web site? [not offered on QF?]

I suspect that "non reward" flights description was an error? If so, I have certainly used AA miles for domestic flights within Australia. 10k for Economy, 20k for Business. Availability seems quite good when Ive looked/booked. My miles came mainly from the takeover of US Airways by AA in ....2013? (which was sad in some ways...the old US Airways *A redemptions were great value...sigh) at which point all my US miles became AA. I have not actually purchased miles but will if the deal looks good enough. Must look in to that.
