Has anyone succeeded in getting one of these since the Ukraine war, on an Australian passport?
I've applied twice this year, in both Russian and English, stating touristic and academic interests as reasons for travelling, and been declined both times. It's now possible to enter through the Georgian checkpoint which is what I intend to do, so I don't need the double-entry Russian visa. I have 6+ months remaining on my passport and my only stamp in it is from China.
Do any of you have any experience/knowledge with their unstated requirements for entry, and if so is it pre- or post-2022? Thanks in advance.
