To make it worst, nowadays the cheaper fares also do not count for sectors.
For Dec peak period, most days, ADL - MEL for eg, Lite is not available, neither is Choice, Flxe is available, but very pricey, and business is available, ...
Yeap, without the sectors, and now VA no longer having the mini RPT (regular pax transport), planes, it is hard to keep up with the 4 sectors required.
Even buying J seat, still only counts as 1 sector, so to get 4 if you live in (for eg) regional Vic/regional NSW where VA does not fly, its hard.

Yeap, without the sectors, and now VA no longer having the mini RPT (regular pax transport), planes, it is hard to keep up with the 4 sectors required.
Even buying J seat, still only counts as 1 sector, so to get 4 if you live in (for eg) regional Vic/regional NSW where VA does not fly, its hard.
If 4 eligible sectors is difficult (i.e two return VA metal flights in 12 months), I'm not sure that the $ spent on Silver/Gold etc. are worth it... or that I'd classify you as a FF...
