Hi been away from the QFF program due to crediting to BA. But many have undoubtedly read about the decimation of the BAEC. I'm thinking of coming back to QFF (though rumours of moving towards spend model scare me - I can see why as the QF F lounge seems quite packed...)

So, I will be flying a MH J flight ex-SYD.

Will I be able to access the QF F lounge in SYD crediting to QFF (nothing status) and showing my BA OWE card?

The only thing I am worried about is getting the lounge agent to change my FF on the MH booking (I don't think it can be done). Perhaps I will leave my BP blank and just show them my card at the counter?

thanks.
dopey me is just getting reacquainted with QFF. geez. didnt know that MH J fares and CX intra-Asian fares are smashed! Looks like a non-starter for me now!

As a datapoint, I know someone many months ago flying EK J who wanted to credit his flight to EK (no status). He tried to use QF WP card to enter and got denied.

In theory it's a Yes.. there are supposedly multiple fields for FF in most GDS systems, but not many staff know how to do it, and changing them can be fraught with danger.

For all oneworld carriers, they don't have the extra fields enabled.

Some years back access based on the status of the member's crediting frequent flyer program was specifically referenced in the lounge access page.

This specific reference no longer exists.
