Accor Fast Track to Silver/Gold/Platinum

Talk about sticking it to their most loyal (and lucrative) members!

From the offer terms:
No Status Nights will be awarded if you already hold a status higher than Gold.

As a current Platinum whose work travel has dried up, I can’t even use it for a soft landing to gold.
Ibis Business used to be the shortcut there but instant Gold was enhanced with with the new ALL Ibis Plus.

I am aware that it states on the offer page that existing Gold need a 5 night Eligible stay (does it include multiple stays adding to 5), but I note the T&C (see the link) does not even refer to this.

Further T&Cs states:
- if you don't get to 30 nights after the completion of the Eligible Stay, they will credit the difference to bring your total to 30 nights
- if you are Gold (30 nights?) [is it implied on your own without these bonus night? and would it include AccorPlus 20 nights?] by the end of the Promotion Period (ie 31/12), you will get 10 nights.

Confused

Is a loophole for new member -> Fast Track to Gold to get to 30 then buy AccorPlus for another 20 (then automatically get the 10 mentioned (or if not go another 10 nights on your own))? -> Platinum achieved.

Actually, it looks like it might be in my offers afterall…🤫

Now, do existing bookings count or do I need to rebook?

Unless I missed something, the T&Cs don't indicate the booking needs to be made during Promotion Period, only the stay needs to occur during the Promotion Period.

Edit: just in case - copy and paste of the first few words of the T&C

Did anyone get an e-mail confirming registration? I took a screenshot, but e-mails always better.
Yes. Confirmation email titled “Ascend by leaps and bounds”

Edit:
SYD+1 just signed up via the LL article with a link to the signup page and has received the email Confirmation. Now to rebook some APAC stays AGAIN…. (Note: I’ll probably retain Gold next year via Ibis Biz 🤞before that short cut gets enhanced. Then I can sign up for A+ in the New Year).

Yeah, I couldn’t see anything about new bookings but Accor promos usually work that way ie book within period a to b, stay a to c.

The confirmation email does say “Simply book one night with us…”

Anyway, I have a couple of one night stays that I rebooked last night. Let’s see what happens.

I clicked through one of the links here and also got as above with just one night. When you click on the link to tell you more it doesn't do anything. I'm away at the moment so will try with better internet when home. The landing page says expiry undefined

I have one free night to take so I'm sure I can add on another night somewhere and this could be handy for next years travel.

12 am could be us time perhaps?

Hmm just curious, can my partner sign up and also get status night under my bookings which were both staying at?

I don’t believe so. But if you say stay two nights and book one each and ask for the same room at checkin? 😉

I received that too after registering, however, mine states :

Click here to find out more.

and when I click to find out more it gives me a blank page. And why only one night? 🧐 What exactly did I sign up to? 😬

I've got exactly the same as email as you:
  • "Simply book one night with us, and your account will be credited with many more status nights."
  • Click the link and get a blank page.

I've already got a 3 night stay booked in SYD this week, guess I'll see if this stay counts. I'm already Accor Gold.

Are you able to rebook to ensure it triggers the promo? Although, as above it’s unclear if existing or only new bookings apply…

But do report back!

At the moment, I have to wait until July for my next Accor stays but SYD+1 has rebooked a one night stay in two weeks time.

My booking is one that I can't cancel, well I could but I forgo my money.
I will report back if this 3 night stay does trigger some promo... It's a little unclear if you are Gold status if need just 1 night or 5... or what exactly is "many more status nights"?

Exactly. Clear as mud.

I was about to ask who would be the first Gold member to stay under this promo with a fresh booking and saw your post.

Quick question - trying to find the answer from Accor’s website but not entirely clear.

Re the recent QFF x ALL fast track offer (upgrading from classic to gold after 3 status nights earnt). Once I stay the 3 nights in the offer period, and therefore earn the gold status, when does that gold status expire? Will that gold status expire one year on from when the status was earnt, or will it expire at Jan 1st of the next year (2025) like how status points do? Cheers

I would expect Gold until 31 Dec 2025.

Honestly the wording is confusing... I made the booking in question back in March but definitely sits within the promo period. Whilst I can cancel and rebook, there has been a slight increase in the cost, so would be annoying if I did so now.

Unfortunately, Accor are notorious (for want of a better phrase) to only recognise bookings made during the offer period.

Hilton and IHG (probably others) usually recognise existing bookings for promos.

Maybe that’s why I subconsciously book flex rates with Accor and only lock in prepaid (if required) closer to the actual stay.
