Accor Fast Track to Silver/Gold/Platinum

Successfullly made it to platinum using this offer so quite happy. Can confirm there have been delays recently with nights posting so the upgrade to gold and platinum took longer than expected. The platinum bonus nights posted on the first stay after reaching gold, no need to re-register for the promotion.

I noticed in my ALL account today that there's another Accor Plus Fast Track coming after 31 Aug.

Now all they need is something enticing enough for those that already made the journey to Platinum, to go for Diamond. I realise this ordinarily doesn't go via nights, but I'd weigh up my options in this double year if they offered something even a little far fetched (but night-based). Can't for the life of me make it on spend.

Diamond is worth pretty much the double of Platinum to obtain so if you were to go down that path you would be looking at say 60 extra nights (or 30 in this double year)
The 4 nights at Melbourne Sofitel over ANZAC weekend pushed me to Diamond for the first time but I’m probably the opposite of you as I find it far easier to qualify via points than nights.

From what I can see of Diamond, it isn't something worth putting too much effort into chasing. The benefits over Platinum seem pretty slim.

Did anyone get the 15 night credited when they reached gold status? I had Accor Plus and was meant to get 15 nights credited. However it never came through. Is there a way to follow up with Accor about this?

Yes, I received the 15 nights towards Platinum after completing one stay after achieving gold (required to trigger).

If you still haven’t received I would submit a request Accor to fix - the have an option for missing points and nights associated with promotions on their web form.

30 for gold +15 bonus is 45, so need another 7.5 nights to make another 15?

Did you have stay after reaching Gold?

According to LoyaltyLobby, the FCTG fast track is back:

Did anyone have success booking through the Flight Centre website and getting the bonus nights?
Declined for me.

They enforced the FCTG term last time around.

Well I've registered for that promo - staying at an Accor hotel next Tuesday but not booked through FCTG. Will let you know whether the bonus nights post.

Have completed the stay and received no bonus nights (as expected).

Hopefully not a dumb question but thought I'd ask, how does accruing Accor status work? Do you instantly get upgraded to the higher status level the moment you cross the relevant threshold or do you have to wait for the following calendar year for you to be awarded the new status? I ask as I'm presently a Silver member but will have stayed >30 nights towards the end of the year. Hence, if Gold status is awarded as I hit the relevant threshold, I may want to wait for me to reach Gold before pulling the trigger on this offer. That way I earn 15 bonus nights instead of 10.

One other question, and again, apologies if it's silly, but do stays at Ibis Budget hotels count as stay nights towards elite status? I know Ibis Budgets in most of the world aren't part of ALL so obviously no benefits there but would be curious if the stay would at least count.

Cheers,
