Accor Fast Track to Silver/Gold/Platinum

Hi all,

I tried to make a booking through the Flight Centre Business Travel to take advantage of this confusing offer. I don't have an account with them and the customer service agent was happy to do the booking but she was not sure if the points would go through.

Has anyone had success with this without having the FCBT account?

Hoping to take advantage as a gold member.

My understanding from the posted T&Cs is it has to be one of their FCTG - Corporate brands which I can only find reference to here:

I tried to get an account with Travel Club but didn't get a response when I registered and sent an email and the link to their website now says they are now merging with Flight Centre but says nothing of FCBT so don't know if it is eligible.

Its clearly aimed at the business traveller whose company has an account with flight centre business. Have called both Accor and Flight Centre.

I'd say allot of people would have booked nights (like many readers on this forum) and not known that you can only do through Flight Centre Corporate.

Just to close the loop, after raising with Accor Plus, who then escalated to the team that handles this promotion, was advised my reservation was not made through the correct channel dedicated for the offer (ie. FCTG Corporate Brands). I made mine via FCM Travel solutions through work which I had thought was part of the FCTG group, and had also checked with my FCM Travel rep.

In any case I ended up receiving the 7 night credit, more as a goodwill gesture as theb accor rep indicated the info on the website was potentially misleading.

Shame the courtesy nights won't do much for me now.

They might be of use if you’re eligible for this offer.

I signed up for this promotion before the explicit T&Cs that this is FTGC bookings only were posted on Accor's website so my stay at the end of December technically doesn't qualify.

I logged into my account and see this on the Status page next to this section:

Move up more quickly

You've chosen these bonuses to reach the next status more quickly.

Hmmm, I can't find any information about this "new" fast track for 2021.

Just had this new offer pop up on my Facebook, for Accor Plus members only:
http://bit.ly/APFastTrackStatusFeb21
  • Gold after 10 nights
  • Platinum after 18 nights
I can't actually get it to activate just yet for me, but hopefully they'll sort that out soon.

I was trying to understand whether that's 10/18 nights before or after the double status nights promo.

After signing up to the Offer, members may, depending on their status, benefit from a Status Nights credit offered after their first Eligible Stay of at least one night in one of the hotels participating in the ALL – Accor Live Limitless loyalty programme in accordance with the following scale:
- A Silver Member signing up to the Offer will be credited 10 Status Nights in addition to 2X (double) Status Nights earned for every night of the stay.
- A Gold Member signing up to the Offer will be credited 15 Status Nights in addition to 2X (double) Status Nights earned for every night of the stay.

I am more confused than when I started...

This promo is for Accor Plus members. Paid membership which is different to the normal Accor loyalty programe

Can I check my math with the team here. I am an Accor plus member with Silver status who has received the fast track to Gold offer.
4 carry over status nights from last year
2 nights consumed this year
I get 12 from my next stay with the offer (10 nights + 2 via Double nights offer) would give me 18 nights.

From here:
To get to Gold I only need 6 more nights via Double status promotion hitting 30 nights?
To get to Platinum I only need 21 more nights via Double status promotion hitting 60 nights?

21 would be the maximum number of nights needed for Gold.

However, it may be less. The detailed T&Cs suggest that when you get to Gold, you will then be entitled to the Gold Fast Track to Platinum. You might then get another 15 Nights, although you would need to work in with the offer dates for the second lot of nights.

After each transition to a new status, a member will be able to benefit from a new
Status Nights credit offered after a new Eligible Stay of at least one night made in
