Accor websites consistently stating all accommodation is fully booked but there are vacancies on third party websites like booking.com. Is this a deliberate policy to block access to status benefits like free breakfast?

not unusual. call the hotel.

Booked Pullman Sails in the Desert over the phone. They use a front company called "Voyages" which probably means they will get out of honouring status benefits.

All ready to go for us after Easter. Accor website states our hotel is a Pullman but impossible to book without going though a “Voyages” branding exercise so I guess Accor loyalty won’t be honoured. Can anyone advise?

Drink voucher was provided. Not sure about welcome amenity. Free breakfast for plat, check. Was able to use points. No upgrade available at the time.
They couldn't find my reservation upon check-in. I had to show them their own confirmation email and insist strongly not to be send away. Probably an isolated incident though. Also not at the Pullman but next door at the mercure(?). Welcome drink and breakfast next door at the Pullman. The Pullman seemed nice.

Voyages is the operator of the Ayers Rock Resort. Let them know your Accor membership when you book (through them)

Unsure if it runs in exactly the same way but hotels booked through Kakadu tourism (ie Cooinda and the croc) earn and get benefits. I think it’s a similar set up down there due to the Aboriginal ownership

We did this last year. Made no difference. Was not credited. Seems a bit of a "rip off" place generally we thought.
