I used mine on a work trip to the Gold Coast. Stayed in the Sofitel Broadbeach. Nice hotel and good service. Decent bar

Might also be worth noting you can't use the night for a booking taken after the expiry of the voucher. I figured it was just a voucher expiry date, but it wouldn't let me book for a stay a couple months down the line.

Can an Accor Plus member redeem the night for another guest?
Brother have 1 expiring soon and willing to let me use it - will i need to show membership or anything at check in?

You can sometimes get one to rollover - but you need to talk to AccorPlus...

Can't answer that exactly. I recently used mine so my father could stay somewhere, but I booked the stay under my name and called the hotel to note that my father would be arriving before me and I would like him to be able to check-in first. The hotel had no issues with that, but I presume they've heard that story before.

Interestingly, despite only being a Silver member, as comes with the membership, he was upgraded; Pullman Hyde Park.

Thanks. Might have to do the same.
I just made the booking online and the name is all prefilled with the account owners detail and you cant change it.

Yes, that's why I ended up calling the hotel. Make sure you choose to talk to the front desk about something, not reservations, as that just sends you to the ALL call centre.

I guess in theory it can be legitimate use of the voucher, as many hotels allow you to list a second traveller name when booking. I have done so for IHG in similar circumstances. I am just unsure why there isn't even that option.

In my case I have all way been able to transfer to the next year, I have used it as a bargaining tool when I renew Accor plus
