Does anyone have a fresh pair of loafers for me to eat? Looks like I will be staying at an Accor property in North America (despite my insistence that Accor properties don't exist in North America):

For those curious there was an AmEx Canada targeted offer on my Platinum card where I'd get $50 CAD back after spending $250 or more at Novotels in Canada. The reviews on this property are mixed. Some say that the quality has fallen since COVID and point out that there may not be a hotel shuttle (which would be important since we've got an early morning flight to YQM). Others have found the rooms to be fairly modern. I suppose we'll have to see how this one pans out.

There are Fairmonts in the US with a few Sofitels and Novotels here and there.

The US-based hotel chains obviously dominate the market over there, which is to be expected.

I've stayed at one of the museum hotels in Chicago previously. There's also a Fairmont, Swissotel and Sofitel there.

I stayed at the Chicago Fairmont, but it was over $500 cheaper to book it through Qantas Hotels than through All Accor webiste/app.

What's it like? Would you stay again?

Older hotel, good location., would probably stay where else next time though.
