Has anyone used an agent that is an Accor step

What is step Accor?

STEP is the perks program of Accor, a travel industry powerhouse with thousands of hotels around the world. As members of Accor STEP, Fora travelers access perks at hotel brands including Fairmont, Sofitel, Raffles and SLS.

I contacted a Step agent via Accor Plus FB this week as he was advertising lots of luxury Accor hotels with third or fourth night free plus the other benefits.
Unfortunately the two hotels I’m after in coughet and Krabi are not available for the promo so I have booked flexible rates in the hope that the rate drops before August.

I also contacted the Step agent via Accor Plus FB. His name is Stijn and is based in the Netherlands. I’m looking at booking with him as the usd $100 credit is very attractive for short stays. The rates seem to be similar to a refundable rate directly with Accor. also the free breakfast is a nice benefit if traveling outside Asi/Pacific.

STEP is the Accor version of Privé, Impressario, luminous/Stars or virtuoso etc.
I haven’t heard of an Aussie STEP agent.
Rates will often be the same as fully flexible, or sometimes a little higher and you need to judge if the benefits are worth it.

Personally I find for 1 night stays it’s great, for anything more it’s not worthwhile usually.
But that is also because my go-to is Impressario as a diamond, so I get many of the benefits already.

As a nothing Accor it would be more worthwhile (though need to weigh up Accor plus benefits too)

Do you still accrue ALL points and receive standard ALL benefits based on loyalty category?

With all the other programs you do, and I’d be amazed if this was different. It’s a benefit offered to high end agents for large sales volumes, so it’s not meant to replace the normal stuff, just supplement it

I am also Diamond and my understanding is that I get all my Accor benefits if I use Step. Have you a link to Impressario as I would like to see how that works. The other Step benefit is that they often have a 3rd or 4th night free, so that would be nice to pickup. The example I have seen was for the Fairmont brand which is not so useful in Oz.

I am also 1 of Accor Step Agent...Signed up for my personal travels bt got 1 nt free stay in Swissotel Osaka,Singapore Sofitel with added benefits of $100 hotel credit

I booked through HoteLux (free membership with World MasterCards) using Accor STEP 3rd night free rate at the Manly Pacific last year, received the stated benefits (free breakfast, room upgrade, room credit) and points/nights added to ALL account.

How do you sign up as Accor Step Agent?

I'm Accor Plus Diamond and I often book for friends & family groups, would be great to be able to book multiple rooms (can only do 2 rooms under my name) and perhaps get some additional perks, too!
