Hi
I received my Diners/Mastercard combo over a week ago and have been using them regularly since with no apparent problem online or instore. When I log in to the website no activity is showing yet. Is this usual for new accounts?

It is usual for Citicorp to have periods such as the present when the website is not updated. Perhaps this is an early Christmas break.

thanks. Never had a charge card and is a bit disconcerting not seeing a balance

It's showing transactions now: School contributions, Christmas shopping and holiday hotels. Some of them things to look forward to.

Andye,

how long after you applied did you get any feedback from them? I have submitted 2 applications and nothing yet (over 7 business days). I'd like to just get my cards so I can start earning points.

Cheers.

HiIt was nearly 4 weeks. I heard nothing for a week then I rang up. They confirmed had received application but would need more info. A message was then left at one of my work sites to call.Pleasant man from citi asked for me to scan and send drivers license and payslips. Also to inform emergency contact and accountant that they would call them ( they did)Hadnt received anything a week later. When called got automated message saying had been approved.Cards came about 10 days later. Despite requesting supplementary cardholder have had to send another application in for my wife's cardHope you get through a bit more quickly

I recently applied took about a week and a half to process & to get approved. Got my cards about a week later. Takes about 2 weeks before data starts flowing through to the mydinersclub site.

After a few teething problems (resolved by calling citi in Sydney), haven't needed to call the call center for a while. Only bug bear now is points crediting a month in arrears. Need to make an SPG redemption soon.

Pleasantly surprised was able to put most of my shopping at the post Xmas sales on the DC. Mostly shopped at larger retailers tho. If they increased points earn on the MC closer to Prestige Visa, then I'd have an interesting decision to make.
