Adding middle name to QF FF profile

I’ve only ever heard of one issue with middle names being required, and that was last week on a ?vietnamese? LCC, secondhand, from someone who had to buy new tickets at checkin as their name didn’t match.
Pretty crazy but also not unexpected for an LCC
