Seems a JQ flight was almost to Adelaide when their curfew was "revoked".

Not sure which side of the story to believe, but it does seem odd that if they had the exemption on take off, why would it be cancelled near the end of the flight?

“The pilot said permission had been granted before we left Melbourne but then it got revoked "

This is the part that confuses me - why revoke permission AFTER take off, or is this "normal"?
Or was the pilot trying to protect his rear end as it had not actually been granted and it easier to "transfer" the blame???

No idea why, but a possible scenario might be they negotiated for a known 15 min delay, then got delayed more and wanted 45 minutes and got told no.
