And that would be an excellent reason to avoid the Hilton.

and that makes me SOOO happy I booked flights and accommodation for that weekend in Adelaide months ago. :) Now to simply travel in a different direction each day to those on the bikes.

There are other affordable options that aren't the hilton though.

Was never going to stay at the Hilton anyway.
We are attending a wedding on the Sunday, and mum (me) has had to fork out for everyone's airfare x 7 but they had to pay for their own accommodation, which had to be VERY affordable for the other 5. (3 rooms)
So we are all staying at the Grand Chifley, would not have been my choice if just the 2 of us were attending, but you have to go with the flow when others have to be considered.
Free tram into the city on next corner.
Paid $350 for 3 nights including breakfast, just checked on site now $570 for 3 nights.

We've got bookings at the Crowne Plaza and Playford. Probably leaning towards the latter as its a much better room for the same price as a base room at CP.

And the list list just keeps on growing.

If you are considering this event, please be aware that our booking is for 24 pax and I am uncertain if this number can be increased. The first 24 definately get a seat with any others being waitlisted subject to availability from the venue.

In the excitement I did fail to mention and I apologise for that, the cost of this event for food is $30 per person and I shall put something on trybooking shortly. Trybooking may charge a booking fee. The cost is similar to what we paid at Seoul Korean. Drinks are available at the cash bar. Please let me know if you have changed your mind, no offence taken, and again apologies for my oversight.

As I thought:

2015 Annual Conference will be held in Perth at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) from Monday, 19th January to Wednesday 21st January
Won't be able to make ADL :(, as I'll stay in PER for Thursday and Friday to see clients. Mrs QF WP may not take kindly to looking after the minis for a week...

Copper I am....

I thought I better do it right away.
Below is the trybooking link for you to purchase tickets.

If for some reason the link does not work just search for Frequent Flyer Casablabla

Please list me as Cupronickel, an alloy of copper and nickel.

Most of you will have this alloy in your pocket as it is used to manufacture Australia's "Silver" coins.

The hotel is now booked for the 17th, looking forward for another great event!

Good one boomy, look forward to catching up again.

Don't forget to purchase your ticket(s) - when I checked Trybooking earlier today the only ones going are the Bindibuys clan.
And Mrs.B and I.

An update to the list of attendees based on tickets purchased.
A couple of members have indicated that they are attending but so far have not purchased a ticket.
If your name is missing from the list this could be the reason.
