We (2 couples) will be having 1 or 2 nights in Adelaide prior to a trip to Darwin in Aug 2012. It would be great to get some tips on rooms that suit 2 couples & have 2 bathrooms. Budget not so important as it will be between 4 people.

I don't specific know anywhere to suits your needs. But I would suggest checking out the Majestic Roof Top Garden in Frome Road. Wonderful hotel.

Thanks for the suggestion. We have booked at the Medina Grand Adelaide Treasury-had a 2 bed/bath suite & seems to be well located for a short stay?

Is that on King Willliam St? If so it is fairly good location. Close to the tram, pretty easy to get to the main eating areas in Gouger St and Rundle St.

Yes Medina is in good location, very close to Gouger Street restaurants. The hotel itself has a nice little bar and a big inside courtyard for coffee etc.

Quite nice rooms, good staff and all the regular stuff. I haven't stayed for a while but remember that my only small gripe was that they didn't refresh the tea and coffee stuff each day. But you can ask them for that.

For something a bit different, you can get a great breakfast at the Central Markets (<5min walk from the Treasury) on a Saturday morning.

Thanks for the recommendation but we are being picked up at 7am for our trip-any other ideas for a quick & easy breaky?
