We are *G courtesy of Aegean Airlines. My mother-in-law has booked to fly Air NZ Adelaide to Auckland return. In Adelaide, I understand that NZ contracts Qantas to provide lounge access (which is actually a domestic airside lounge). Two questions: will she get a lounge invite to the contract lounge (which happens to be QF) as a *G and secondly, could she access the SQ Silver Kris lounge that will be open around the time she departs? Any experiences or comments appreciated.

The Star Alliance lounge finder says the SQ lounge but I couldn't say the practicality of that (hours, etc)

The hours seems to suit the NZ flight

daily 0910-1030

Being *G she should be able to access the SQ Lounge which is airside.

Once she has cleared immigration she just needs to exit the shop after immigration and turn left. The escalators down to the SQ Lounge are about 20 metres along on the left hand side.
The Lounge is smallish but comfortable and there is usually sandwiches, party pies, etc and drinks available.

I know its not the same, but every time I fly NZ out of Perth (they also contract out the QF lounge there) - I've had access to the lounge with *G in Y.
