Isn't that a paid forum though? Could just pay for AFF and have the ads removed ;)
Fair comment! I'd say if you're looking for a 'dedicated wine forum' though, you're likely to get more value from RB than AFF.

@Daver6 Fair comment indeed if I was using it for other things than wine.

I am only interested in wine and have noticed that since the changes to this website were made, the activity on wine threads had reduced quite dramatically (maybe I am wrong - just my impression). So I assume that other users are affected also and if so, it makes more sense to me to look elsewhere for a more dedicated wine forum.

@CaptainCurtis - thank you very much for the tip!

That's interesting, I have also noticed that the number of posts on the Wine threads have reduced significantly. I'm signed up for emails each time there is a new post, and the number of emails I've been receiving has definitely dropped. Whether its related to changes to AFF, who knows, although I suspect they would have visibility over this sort of information.

So got the weekly email today, clicked on one of the links and got this

then I clicked please login here

How do I read the links in the email without getting that pop up and being logged in?

If you are a paid member (ie. AFF Supporter) you shouldn't see ads on either the forum pages or the article pages. Nor should you see the "AdBlocker Detected" message.

Unfortunately there are times when AFF Supporters do get the "AdBlocker Detected" message when they are logged in (and have a AdBlocker installed). The good news is that doing a hard refresh usually solves this problem instantly. Alternatively consider whitelisting AFF on your AdBlocker.

If you are a AFF Supporter and continue to have this problem, please contact @support for assistance.

Tried again with the refresh option and still seeing the issue @support

As you can see from my account I am a paid member.

My ad blocker also blocks various tracking so this is not something I want to turn off.

Is there a direct link to these articles I can get to from the forum without clicking through the email?
