Hi All,

Anyone ever used the free night, i.e. book a night then 24 hours before arrival date cancel it. Website says no charge to cancel but can we then rebook it for another date without any fees, assuming there is a free night available for that date. Or is the free night gone for good once you cancel?

Thanks,
K.

It looks like you are OK as long as you cancel prior to 6PM the day before... below is from their T&Cs:

All reservations using e-Certificates must be guaranteed with a credit card that is valid at the date of the start of your stay, unless otherwise specified. No cancellation charge applies if your reservation is cancelled prior to 18.00 (local time) up to 1 day prior to arrival. Beyond that time, at the election of the hotel booked, the first night will be charged at the Members' Rate for that night or the complimentary free night certificate will be forfeited. E-certificates are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

The e-certificate is attached to your card, and the free night certificate is not actually deducted from the card until you check-in to the hotel. So, you should see it remain on your account up until that point.
