does anyone have any experience with the arrival lounge and getting in a guest as a OWE?

Went there last year with Mrs Djf who was then OWE when I was not; she was not allowed to guest me in, but as above I had instructed her to take a few snapshots for me.

The impression she gave me was that this was a small lounge, something of an afterthought for people who desperately needed to grab a very quick bite or shower before heading into town, if they did not have access to other better hotel facilities or were headed straight to work/meetings. It's certainly not easy to find, and if you were transiting you'd be much better off going back in to the Wing/Pier/Cabin.

If anything, only worth going to to tick off your lounge list. ;)

MEL QF First has restrictions on access. Unless you are flying F it can be very difficult to use the spa as they will not take bookings so depends whether others have priority on the day.

In Hong Kong the Wing is preferable. Good bistro for brekfast and great 'flood' shower. QF/BA is more typical lounge though quite comfortable but without additional amenities.

Surely the best thing about the F lounge at the Wing is the baths. Great big baths, with a flood shower afterwards. Oh with a couple of nice glasses of champagne at your side.

I have only travelled through there on my own, so not sure if a partner can share you bath. :-)

Hi all,

i'm in the CX arrivals lounge now....have some time to kill before heading to my appointment.

Its located down the escalators underneath the MTR Airport Express station...there is no sign, its on the right side after the paid lounge.

Its very modern and properly doesnt get much use....it definitely came after the departure lounges...wont say its an after thought.....at least CX has this whilst QF cant get something together.

Food is quite acceptable- order off a menu, 6-7 mains...from chinese - japanese - western. (Chose the Japanese Tempura Bento Box)

Lots of juices- including watermelon.... the service is impeccable....

4-5 showers, 5-6 computers.

Its cosy...but its not that busy.

Wish QF could get one in SYD and MEL.

I am sure you can as long as you behave. ;)
