Advice for Swaziland booked Y EK SYD - DXB - GVA for Son in law

My SIL has a stint in Swaziland for a non-profit. Can he choose where to credit the points, or is it only Skywards? Any suggestions on Y seat for a 6'4" person? It was booked with a TA.

So if it is OK to credit EK flights to QF, would he get the same quantity of points? He has no current EK points, so I don't think a few Y points wouldn't be very useful.

He can credit points to QF also if that works better for him.
