Advice on champagne

Just to provide some feedback on the Kirkland Brut NV Champagne. MrsK and I have sampled a couple of bottles, and while it's nice I wouldn't pay more than $25 for it - there's better stuff in the $45-$50 range. We think Aldi's Monsigny Champagne Brut NV, at $27/bottle is a better choice, but then, each to their own.

Yes, I agree. I prefer the Aldi Monsigny Champagne Brut too. It's less fruity, and I like the crisp Brut.

Some huge price rises at First Choice/Liquorland, looks to be >20% in most instances. Veuve NV $98, Moet NV $84, Moet vintage $140, Dom up to $400... must be pulling prices out of a hat.
