From the Jan QFF statement:

Aeropelican join the program
Aeropelican proudly operates daily air services to four destinations within New South Wales, connecting Sydney with Newcastle, Narrabri and Mudgee. These regional business centres act as the gateway for surrounding communities. From 11 January 2010, you can earn points when travelling on eligible Aeropelican flights, and use your points for Award bookings.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Well SYD-DGE must work out economical for points...
More than $1 for each point earned. Hmm
And 8000 for wine tasting :D +1
Maybe the QFF store has some better wines on offer for less??

Another old Ansett affiliate into the QF fold!

They were Ansett for a substantial time! I miss the trips into Belmont, it was quite unique and the Sydney ATCs used to be given the odd free trip for a day surfing at the nearby beach

I flew on Aeropelican Twin Otters many times back in the 80's.... but never on a scheduled service...

They were regularly chartered for Skydiving weekends....

Rylstone was the "usual" location..... bet the current Aeropelican pilots don't do approaches (and beat ups!) at Mudgee like they used to do there!!;)

With that big fixed undercarriage we HAD to duck when they got keen.....

Good days!!!

I also loved the Sydney to Belmont run... particularly coming back into Lake Macquarie... just beautiful...!
